ADAPT 2025
Advancing Data Access, Privacy, and Trust
November 10-12, 2025 | Palm Springs, CA
In November 2025, the Healthcare Trust Institute held its first annual ADAPT conference in Palm Springs, California. The gathering featured leaders from across the healthcare IT landscape, representing the private, public, and educational sectors. Stakeholders from corporate, legislative, regulatory, advocacy, and other organizations came together to converse and collaborate on a shared vision: the future of healthcare in the era of data transformation.
“Overall the conference was a smashing success! It felt like an exclusive getaway with an opportunity to engage personally in a small setting – truly the top policy leaders in health IT.”
The conference kicked off with a rootop reception at the Thompson Hotel. The program featured a welcome by Palm Springs Mayor Pro Tem Naomi Soto and entertainment by the Martini Kings.
The next day, attendees gathered in the ballroom for a full day of general sessions in a variety of formats: Trust Talks, panel discussions, fireside chats, and a keynote address by Amy Gleason, acting administrator of the U.S. DOGE Service and strategic advisor to the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
“Fantastic gathering of respected voices and intelligent thought leadership.”
The day concluded with a beautiful dinner under the desert sky at local favorite Copley’s, sponsored by Mayo Clinic.
“Exceptional content and thoughtful planning focused on excellent attendee experience.”
On the final day of ADAPT, attendees came together in a collaborative effort to frame the future of data privacy in the age of artificial intelligence. Through a facilitated, illustrated exercise, they co-created a forecast to help stakeholders anticipate, adapt, and lead in a world where the rules, risks, and technologies are evolving faster than ever.
“The last day was really really well done. The process was timed perfectly for each piece, facilitated extremely well, and hugely fascinating to be a part of.”
“It felt like a concierge took care of every detail, with an overriding attention to high quality and the positive experience of attendees.”
